Me and my 12 year old son offers to pet sit in your house 🐱🐶🐭

Through the years I've rehomed, taken in or fostered over 40 cats, included strays that are scared of humans and their kittens. Both through my local animal shelter and privately. When travelling abroad it's not unusual for us to meet a stray cat in need of medical care, so I always plot in the nearest veterinary clinic on my map when travelling -just in case. So my soft spot and main knowledge is naturally mainly 😺 But I love other animals too; I've got an aquarium, I once was a foster home for a turtle, I had a rabbit, a hamster and 2 budgies when growing up, and I had a bearded dragon for a few years until it passed of old age. And now we have my 14 year old cat and a 3 year old "kitten" (she'll never grow out of that role) ❤️

I'm allergic to dogs, but somehow when we're out travelling, the strays always stick to me. If I'm sitting for a dog, I'll just pop some allergy pills a few days in advance and I'm good 😉 The cuddles are very much worth it! ❤️ If it had been legal to bring dogs home to Norway from abroad I'd definitely would have had one (or more), despite the allergy 🥰 There are a few individuals I met on travels that I actually think of daily because of our interactions and the impression they made on me. But I don't have one unfortunately, i just like them and we get along. But that also means I'm no expert in dog behavior if there are behavioral problems. 

Me as a sitter in your house: I have my 12 year old son with me who love and is as used to animals as I am. He knows they're not toys and to respect them (cats will teach you that pretty fast). I will by no means leave my child in charge, he is just coming along. I am still the one responsible. But we'll both definetly offer play and cuddles, your beloved pet will get double the dose there. And of course I will fulfill your animals other needs (feeding, cleaning litter boxes, medication if needed, structure, personal space, lots of walks when needed and more cuddles of course). We will of course send you updates and pictures during your time away.

Having pets ourselves we know pets can get stressed when their owners leave. We'll do as much as we can to reduce that stress and don't change the routine your pet is used to, as they often are creatures of habit.

If you need your plants or garden taken care of I'd love to do that too! I'm a little bit plant obsessed and have quite a few at home + a small garden 🌻I won't let them wilter and die when you're away 🌱

We are available for both shorter and a bit longer stays -especially (but not only) during school holidays, as long as they're planned well ahead.
