I work full-time but am often available on weekends and after work for anyone who needs help with their pets. As a cat parent, I know how hard it is when I need to go away and have no one to look after my girls. 

I love all animals and have a degree in entomology so creepy-crawlies are included in that statement. Would be happy to help with pets that aren't just cats and dogs.

I have extensive animal experience. I grew up in South Africa and have had pets most of my life. I worked as a game ranger in SA where I came into contact with many wild animals on a daily basis. I then moved to South Korea to teach English and there got involved in animal rescue. I volunteered at a no-kill shelter and later became the adoption coordinator. I have fostered many different animals and believe in positive reinforcement techniques ONLY. 

I adopted 3 dogs in Korea and flew them home to South Africa. I have a soft spot for special needs animals and so have fostered/adopted blind dogs, senior dogs, paralysed dogs etc. I left my dogs in the care of my parents when I moved to the UAE to teach. While there I unexpectedly adopted a cat. She moved to Norway with us and then I adopted 2 more cats in Stavanger so now there are three. My dogs have since moved to the UK with my parents. 

Because of my cats, I would be unable to have pets in my home but exception could be made for small, cat-friendly dogs. 

I am happy to walk your dogs for you or to go and feed your cats, keeping them company for a while and playing with them because that is what I hope for my own cats! I will also send you plenty of photos and videos because, again, that is what I always want when I am away.
