For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Slemmestad for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Slemmestad Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Slemmestad sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Dear beautiful people !
My name is chonticha, im originally from Thailand. I'm 29 and I recently moved from The Netherlands to Norway
I have experienced myself with pet for over 5 years and have had a dog and cat myself back home

Pet sitter was my part time job when I was studying in The Netherlands .
As I was a student had a lot of time beside my study and being a pet sitter was one of my favorite things to do

Mostly of my time that I spent just being a nice auntie to them I went to a walk with them in the park or the nice neighborhood around and sometimes do dog sitter at home too for a bit
Back then in my home country me and my mother always take care of abandoned animals which meant that can be dog or cat, make them ready for new home , Right now when I'm not there at my home country I have made a fundraising to Soi dog on my social media platform ( Abandoned Animals in Thailand) and I really hope what all attempts to do it can make a better place to our little friends.

I willing to spend time with them and make them feel comfortable as much as they can feel that they're not that far from thier owners.

Best regards.
Chonticha C

Hi! I’m Hedvika, a caring and reliable pet sitter based in Asker with extensive experience looking after both dogs and cats.
Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I understand that every pet has their own personality, needs, and routines. I also have my own dog, which has given me even more experience with daily care, training, walks, and understanding different dog behaviours.
I have experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, as well as cats. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, exploring nature, or simply relaxing with company, I will make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
I love being outdoors and exploring nature, so active dogs will always have someone happy to join them on walks and adventures. At the same time, I’m also happy to provide calm companionship for pets who prefer a quieter routine.
I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member, so I treat every pet with the same care and attention as my own. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos, so you can feel reassured while you’re away.
I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged friend!

I absolutely love dogs and would be more than happy to take care of your furry friend! ️ I used to have a little Maltese who was very special to me, so I know how much love, attention, patience, and care a dog deserves.

At the moment, I’m not able to have a dog of my own, which is why taking care of your dog would bring me so much joy. For me, it’s a real win-win situation, you can feel comfortable knowing that your furry baby is in caring and responsible hands, your dog gets lots of love, attention, long walks and playtime, and I get to spend time with a dog, which I genuinely love. ️

I really enjoy long walks,as well as playing, cuddling and spending quality time with dogs. I’m happy to adapt the walks and daily routine to your dog’s age, energy level and individual needs. I usually care for 1 dog at time so I can make sure each dog gets plenty of individual attention.

Your dog would stay in a safe and comfortable environment. I’m happy to follow their usual routine, including feeding times, walks, playtime and toilet breaks. I would take them outside depending on their normal routine and needs.

I believe dogs should never feel lonely or neglected while their owners are away. I provide constant supervision and plenty of attention, and I’m happy to keep you updated with messages and photos so you know how your furry friend is doing.

I’m a responsible, patient and caring person, and I understand that every dog has their own personality, habits and needs. I will always follow your instructions and do my best to make your dog feel safe, relaxed, loved and at home.

For me, this isn’t just a job, it’s something I would genuinely enjoy. I would treat your dog with the same love and care I would give to my own. I’d be very happy to meet you and your furry baby, get to know their little personality and make sure you are all happy and comfortable. ️

Hei!

Hello! My name is Polina, and animals have always held a truly special place in my heart. To me, pets are not just animals — they are full-fledged family members who deserve the utmost love, care, and respect.
Growing up, I was surrounded by pets and learned early on how to care for them properly. I used to have a cat, as well as a wonderful German Shepherd, which gave me hands-on experience in managing both small and large breeds. Back in Ukraine, my family and I frequently fostered rescue and stray dogs, helping them feel safe, cared for, and ready for their forever homes.
Additionally, I spent a year working as a professional dog sitter in Poland, where I looked after two adorable small dogs. They truly became like children to me, and I treated them with the same affection and attention I would give my own.
I take pet care very seriously and approach every task with a high level of responsibility, patience, and warmth. Whether it is daily walks, feeding, playing, or simply keeping your pet company, I tailor my care to match their personality and routine. I accept both dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments. You can rest assured that while you are away, your beloved companion will be safe, happy, and treated like family! To ensure your pet feels completely safe and right at home, I always start by learning from the owner about their favorite habits, comfort zones, preferred toys, and games. I adapt entirely to the pet’s needs, offering plenty of time for active walks, running, and playing. During warmer seasons, I am also happy to take them swimming if allowed and enjoyed by the pet.I adapt very well to high-energy dogs. Even without a fully fenced yard, I make sure they get all the exercise they need by taking them on more frequent walks and visiting safe, open areas where they can run around freely. There are so many great games for active pets, and I will always tune into your dog's mood to ensure they stay happy, stimulated, and well-exercised.

Hei!

Hi! I'm a big animal lover and grew up surrounded by animals. I recently had to say goodbye to my lovely little rat family, and I'm planning to get my own puppy next year. In the meantime, I'd love to spend more time with dogs by helping out with walks, getting to know different breeds and personalities, and gaining more hands on experience.
I'm currently learning about dog psychology and positive training methods because I want to be the best dog owner I can be. I take caring for animals very seriously and will always treat your dog with kindness, patience, and respect. Every dog is different, so I'll always adapt the walk to their personality, energy level, and routine, whether they enjoy long walks, sniffing adventures, or a slower pace. My priority is making sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and has a fun, positive experience.
If your dog has specific routines or preferences, for example if they pull on the leash, get nervous in certain situations, or react to other dogs, I'd love to know how you usually handle those situations. That way I can keep the experience as familiar and consistent as possible for your dog.
I work from home a couple of days a week and have a flexible schedule, so I'm often available in the evenings and on weekends, as well as during the day on my work from home days. I live near Lysaker and can often help out on short notice if you're in the area.
For now, I'm offering dog walks and dog sitting in the Lysaker area. I'm mostly available after 4 pm and on weekends, but I can also do daytime walks nearby on the days I work from home.
I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend!
